Am a star!

Iam very bad at giving directions especially if you catch me walking in the hot sun as if am some movie star and you have actual movie star looks.

Well a lady did walk up to me who had this movie star looks and ask me directions to the hard rock café while I was at this pedestrian crossing.

For a moment, I went blank becoz I knew where the hard rock café was , I even knew they had two gigantic guitars in front of the café leaning on each other however I did not know how to get there!!! All the image I was building up while walking down the road as if am some super intelligent supermodel came crashing down when I started stammering with the directions.


‘Take left and you will reach a parking space…’

‘Parking space?’ , the lady had a question mark on her face , ‘ you mean a parking lot?’.

Shame on you!! I scolded myself.

I then gave up and asked her to go straight turn left and then someone there will guide her. She thanked me and started running on the pedestrian crossing bringing a lot of cars on a sudden break. They saw me standing there not knowing if to pass or not and asked me to pass too..hehehe…

I darted across with an embarrassed smile.

After I reached my office, I asked a friend the way to the hard rock café and well friends, its entirely opposite to the one I gave her!

Damn!! Anyways, its ok this is how you learn!! I told myself

She must have found it out by now that I gave her the wrong directions and probably must be cursing me too. Sorry!!
