I got to read Dr. Robin Cooks ‘coma’ at last and 25 years after its publication!

It sure was interesting and kept me on it until I reached its last page however he too goes too much into details, and his usage of medical terms sometimes got the better of me that at times I could feel my head tighten up coz I was getting frustrated with the different terms in the book. I wasn’t happy with the climax of the story. All throughout the story he would go to describe the minutest of details, like the bend on the nose of one of the characters and the eyes set in , poke marked face due to teenage acne etc , however when it came to the climax , I felt like he was in a hurry to get over with it and to get it published that he left the climax… just like that …don’t know how to describe it

Kudos to the guy though because from what I read, the guy used to sit down to write the novel after his long day at work as a doctor! Now that is not an easy thing if am right. Look at me, I am not a doctor and most of the time I laze around in the office and yet am sooo lazy to write down something even for the blog once I return home! Oh, but then I must mention about the one hour drive from Dubai internet city to my home. Now that is not a small thing and also the drive in the morning. That kind of kills my time and my energy!! I wonder if the Dubai government realizes that it is killing a novelist in me because of the traffic disaster in Dubai. Do they know that they are actually killing fame from the country!! Gosh!! Whats happening here! These, ladies and gentle men are the indirect effects of having traffic in the country!! He he..
